Endurance races, such as the iconic Le Mans race, have become highly sought-after amongst various motorsport events across Europe. The Nürburgring Endurance Series, hosted at Germany’s Nürburgring circuit, has a rich history dating back to 1977 and is considered one of the world’s largest motorsport series. With approximately 10 races each year, ranging from 3.5 to 6 hours, teams compete for the season championship. The series attracts around 170 participating cars from a variety of classes, including GT3 cars, touring cars, and commercially available racing models. The intense competition within each class makes for thrilling races, leading to the event's growing popularity and large fan base. One of the notable teams in this series is Walkenhorst Motorsport, led by Henry Walkenhorst, who also runs a BMW dealership. Since their establishment, Walkenhorst Motorsport has achieved numerous victories.
